I'll stamp all over 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.

Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
